| "Oguz-Gabala-Baku" water pipeline project |
|
Being one of the largest projects in the Republic of Azerbaijan, "Oguz-Gabala-Baku" water pipeline project with productivity 5 m3 water per second and social in nature will play an important role in providing drinking water to the population of Baku city. According to the initial draft, Oguz-Gabala-Baku water pipeline crosses along with the rail, 9 highways, 3 oil pipe linesroad, 15 gas pipeline and 13 rivers. In addition, 4 km long emergency line is designed for water supply to Ceyrankechmez reservoir. This pipeline crosses along with 1 highway and 2 railways.
Tubes in the project are constructed of plastic pipes of fiber glass having internal diameter of 2 000 mm. Other alternative tubes (the metal tube with internal diameter of 2000 mm) are designed to be used in some critical and complex landscapes.
